Domotex asia ChinaFloor Breaks Records

Shanghai, China, April 2, 2007--DOMOTEX asia/ChinaFloor 2007, the largest international trade show for floor coverings in the Asia region, wrapped up with 36,000 visitors in attendance, an increase of 12.5% over the 32,000 that attended the Shanghai-based show in 2006.

Of the floor covering professional attending the show this year 15% came from the United States

The number of exhibitors at the 2007 show rose by 13.4 percent to 928, verses 833 at the 2006 version.

The show, which occupied 8 halls at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC), saw an increase of 12.7% in exhibit space, reaching 83,600 sq. meters, compared to 73,000 sq. meters in 2006.

The show, which is second in size only to Domotex Hannover is now viewed as the largest wood and laminate flooring show in the world.
