Domco Announces Price Increases
Farnham, Quebec, October 31, 2005--Domco announced that it will increase prices from 3 percent to 6 percent on its resilient products, effective December 1, 2005. The increases are a result of the continued escalation in raw materials and transportation costs, according to Stephan Guindon, vice president, sales and marketing, Domco. “Throughout this year, we have initiated efficiencies across all of our operations to keep our costs in line,” said Guindon. “However, with the continued pricing pressures in the marketplace, we have no choice but to pass along some of our increases to our customers.” In spite of the recent increases, Domco is having a very good year, noted Guindon. “We attribute our success to the fact that we offer our customers great styling and the best price/value ratio in the industry,” he added. “In short, the Domco brand continues to be an excellent buy for the consumer and a profitable option for our retailers.”
