Dixie Reschedules Earnings Release

Chattanooga, TN, Oct. 28--The Dixie Group, Inc. announced that it has rescheduled the date of its third quarter earnings release and analyst conference call. The Company will release results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 27, 2003, before the market opens on Wednesday, November 12. Originally the company had scheduled the earnings release and conference for Thursday, October 30.
