Designer Vern Yip and Stainmaster Makeover Contest
Atlanta, GA, March 25--Celebrity designer Vern Yip will detail the transformation of one room in the home of the Stainmaster carpet Designer Makeover Contest winner and answer questions from viewers about home style and design March 29 at 2:00 p.m. EST.

The Stainmaster carpet Designer Makeover Contest, which ran from October through January, required participants to submit an essay explaining why their sense of style and design qualified them to win Stainmaster carpet for their entire home in addition to a one-room makeover designed by Vern Yip.
Based on their essays, 25 finalists were chosen and asked to submit one photo of the room to be made over. Vern Yip and contest judges selected Terry Sprow of Port Charlotte, Fla. as the grand prize winner based on his initial essay score and the photo.
More than 9,000 people entered the contest.
