Designer Contest For Reuse of Carpet Samples

Chattanooga, TN, March 6, 2008--Following the success of last year’s contest, Bentley Prince Street, Floor Focus magazine, and Tricycle Inc. are offering designers another chance to transform carpet samples into something useful, beautiful or just cool.

Ample Sample 2008 calls on designers to flex their creative muscle and figure out something to make with the stacks of carpet samples flooding their resource libraries. Past entries have included a wine bottle holder, a purse, and a CD storage container.

The finalists will be promoted at NeoCon World’s Trade Fair 2008 and featured on the Ample Sample website, complete with blueprints and instructions for their designs.

There will also be a student competition, so students may come looking for carpet samples.
