Delta Systems Buys Building Technology Alliance

Charlotte, NC, August 24--Delta Systems Inc. has acquired Building Technology Alliance from its parent company, Acoustics Inc., according to the Charlotte Business Journal. Building Technology Alliance, which has operations in Charlotte and Raleigh, provides fire-suppression technology, fire alarms and security systems. SJF Ventures, a Durham-based venture capital fund, led an equity financing round for Delta Systems in February. Financial terms weren't disclosed. Delta Systems supplies security, fire and life safety and communications technology to organizations in the southeastern United States. Acoustics, based in Charlotte, designs, builds and consults on the construction of controlled environments. The company installs components such as modular walls, ceilings and ceiling grids and flooring for end-users and contractors in the medical device industry.
