Brussels, Belgium, April 27--CVC European Equity Partners has withdrawn its notification to the European Commission of its proposed acquisition of Swiss flooring and adhesives manufacturer Forbo Holdings AG, according to the competition unit.
The commission, which polices competition in the 25 EU member states, was due to decide whether or not to clear the deal on April 29.
