Curriculum Review Set for INSTALL

Philadelphia, PA,  April 10, 2008 – Technical and education experts from the more than 50 mill and manufacturing partners of the International Standards and Training Alliance (INSTALL) are set to participate in a review of the curriculum from which INSTALL professionals are taught.

This curriculum is developed by the United Brotherhood of Carpenters’ International Training Fund (CITF). To maintain a curriculum that is current with the latest technology and in step with industry requirements, the more than 50 partnering mills and manufacturers of the INSTALL program will gather to provide advice regarding the CITF’s carpet, resilient, and standard skills training modules.

“This curriculum review is the CITF’s effort to keep its program on the cutting edge of flooring installation training,” said INSTALL Director John McGrath.

“Technical review and comments from industry experts contributes greatly to INSTALL’s ability to place the industry’s most highly productive flooring professionals on jobsites throughout North America.”

The review is scheduled for May 19-20 at the CITF’s training center in Las Vegas.
