Crossley Axminster Looking at Mississippi Site

Greenville, MS, July 2, 2008--Crossley Axminster Inc. is considering turning a former Textron facility in Greenville into a carpet manufacturing facility.

The company would lease the facility from the county and hire up to 150 people.

“We are in discussions right now, but we hope to make an announcement in the near future,” said Washington County Board of Supervisors president Paul Watson. “The carpet-making business is back in Washington County.”

Jeff Coveny, president of Crossley Axminster, he hopes to make a major announcement soon.
