CRI Vacuum Program Seeks ANSI Certification

Dalton, GA, April 12, 2010--The Carpet and Rug Institute has made changes to its vacuum testing program.

First, the program has transitioned from the former Green Label program into the Seal of Approval/Green Label program. The Green Label program was phased out Jan. 1. Vacuums tested only under that program are no longer listed on the CRI website and those manufacturers can no longer use the Green Label logo in their marketing, according to CRI Seal of Approval Manager Pat Jennings.

In addition, the SOA/GL vacuum program is seeking certification from the American National Standards Institute, or ANSI.
