CRI Offers CEU Courses for AIA and IIDA
Dalton, GA, March 1, 2007--The Carpet and Rug Institute has formed a continuing education unit (CEU) work group from within its member company's orkforce to help put together a bevy of unbiased information that could be used for CEU courses.
Continuing Education courses are needed by the interior design and architectural professionals to maintain the professional designation. The courses developed by the CEU work group provide unbiased, non-proprietary information about carpet so the professionals can take the knowledge from these courses to the field and be better designers.
Once the courses are developed by the CEU work group, they are submitted before the Market Issues Committee and, if technical issues are covered, the Technical Issues Committee for approval.
After the courses are approved within the CRI, they are submitted to the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) and the American Institute of Architects (AIA) for approval. This allows the professionals to acquire accredited hours for participating in the CEU classes.
