CRI Annual Meeting Draws 250
Dalton, GA, November 19, 2007-- Nearly 250 people attended the recent CRI Annual Meeting at the Northwest Georgia Trade and Convention Center, where they heard CRI President Werner Braun give his annual state of the CRI presentation.
In addition, a new board was elected. It includes: Chairman Vance Bell (Shaw Industries); Vice Chairman Ralph Boe (Beaulieu Group); Jeff Lorberbaum (Mohawk Industries); John Wells (Interface Americas); Russell Grizzle (Milliken & Co.); Dan Frierson (Dixie Group); Scott Lowrie (Dow Chemical); Dan Stone (Invista); Chip Howalt (Textile Rubber); Glen Hussmann (Tandus); Jim Bethel (J&J Industries); Jack Ganley (Mannington); Mike Gallman (Blue Ridge Carpets); and Bob Weiner (Constantine). Mohawk's Frank Boykin will serve as the new treasurer.
Among those honored for their service to CRI were Carl Bouckaert, Gary Lanser, Howard Elder, Frank Endrenyi and Gerald Embry. Tandus' Paul Evans was also honored with the Joseph J. Smrekar Award for his exemplary service to the industry and to CRI.
