Creative Edge Acquires Custom Flooring Insets

Fairfield, IA, February 8, 2021-Creative Edge, a Weaton company based in Fairfield, Iowa, has acquired the Chicago-area company Custom Flooring Insets (CFI).

According to Creative Edge, “The acquisition merges complementary skills, bolstering Creative Edge’s position as the largest waterjet operation in the U.S. and expanding custom architectural service offerings, as well.”

CFI has partnered with Chicago-area flooring contractors since 1946, engineering and fabricating custom flooring designs from their plant in East Dundee, Illinois. In addition to its expertise in resilient flooring, CFI, like Creative Edge, also creates custom flooring in stone, tile, and carpet for luxury residential and commercial projects.
