Coverings to Host Attendee Appreciation Night for

Alexandria, VA, April 1--Coverings, the ceramic tile and stone show, will host an Appreciation Night event on May 4 to honor members of the design/build community attending the show. Coverings will be held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida from May 3 thru May 6. "Coverings is committed to providing attendees and exhibitors with networking opportunities, where they can establish and strengthen business relationships," says Tamara Christian, Coverings’ show director and president, National Trade Productions. Appreciation Night for the design/build community will be held at the Latin Quarter, located along the famed Universal City Walk, on Wednesday, May 4 at 6:30 pm. Guests can enjoy "Nuevo Latino" cuisine, prepared by a four-star chef, against a backdrop of breathtaking landscapes and architectural styles found throughout Latin America. Design/Build Appreciation night at the Latin Quarter is just one of many events at Coverings 2005 especially tailored for the design/build community. Other events include conferences, workshops and educational forums covering topics of key interest to architects and designers, such as trends in mosaics; exterior cladding with porcelain; and residential and commercial tile trends. Industry experts will lead these events, including Leatrice Eiseman of the Eiseman Center for Color Information and Training, Kimberly Love from the International Academy of Design and Technology, and Barry Wood of "Trading Spaces."
