Coverings 2006 Fetes Installers, Contractors and F

Alexandria, Va, February 14, 2006--Any of the more than 32,000 tile and stone professionals who attend Coverings 2006 will agree that there is a lot of business to be conducted during the four-day expo and conference, April 4-7, in Orlando, Florida. However, a bit of fun will be added to the mix on Thursday, April 6 with an Appreciation Night party. It is a Coverings celebration honoring the installers, contractors and fabricators who participate in the show. Always a highlight of the week, it gives guests a chance to enjoy some extra hospitality while continuing to network and connect with colleagues in a more informal, fun and relaxed setting. This year’s Installer, Contractor and Fabricator Appreciation Night event will be hosted at the Rock ‘n’ Roll Beach Club at Downtown Disney Pleasure Island. The hub of nightlife for locals as much as for visitors, Downtown Disney Pleasure Island is where the entertainment spills out onto the street and continues late into the night. One of more than a half-dozen clubs, The Rock ‘n’ Roll Beach Club is a tri-level space where live bands perform classic rock-and-roll for dancing and listening. The Tile Council of North America (TCNA), a Coverings sponsor, is hosting the festivities, which begin at 6:30 p.m. “We know so many installers, contractors and fabricators who attend Coverings look forward to Appreciation Night, so we’re pleased to host it once again,” said Eric Astrachan, TCNA executive director. “The attraction of Coverings, and the reason it succeeds in being the tile and stone industry’s most important and exciting exposition,” he continued, “is because it’s committed to providing consistently superior programming and networking opportunities for attendees. From the keynote speaker to the show floor and range of exhibitors, to the diverse offering of seminars and caliber of presenters, and to the highly anticipated Appreciation Night parties, attention and care are taken to make sure Coverings is a rewarding experience.” Installer, Contractor and Fabricator Appreciation Night is one of many events at Coverings 2006 specifically tailored for the contractor and fabricator community. Scheduled also is a week’s worth of seminar sessions and live demonstrations. The lineup of speakers includes experts such as Dave Gobis, from the Ceramic Tile Education Foundation, Rich Booms, Booms Stone Company, Scott Lardner, Rocky Mountain Stone Company, and Rich Goldberg, of Professional Consultants International.
