Charlotte, NC, September 28, 2005 -- Effective October 15, 2005, or as contracts allow, BASF will raise prices in North America on all carboxylated styrene-butadiene latex products supplied to the adhesives, architectural coatings, carpet, construction and nonwovens industries by $0.06 per dry pound.
This price increase is the result of significant increases in raw material and energy costs. It pertains to products sold under the Butofan, Styrofan and Styronal brands.
Butofan, Styrofan and Styronal are trademarks of BASF Aktiengesellschaft.
