Cork Sales to China Expanding

Shanghai, China, April 5, 2007--Portugal's Corticeira Amorim, the world's largest supplier of cork products, has said that its flooring business in China, though still small, was growing at 30 percent yearly.

Amorim's Mrio Costa was quoted in a Lusa News agency report from Domotex asia ChinaFloor that the company has been in the Chinese market for five years and is present in all the eastern coastal cities. According to the report Costa said the company’s objective is to expand ring-wise to cities in the interior. He said in the report that the company's goal was to double its 100 current sales points in two years.
