Consumer Sentiment Eases Slightly

Ann Arbor, MI, November 22, 2006--Consumer sentiment weakened slightly in late November, according to research from the University of Michigan. The University of Michiganconsumer sentiment index inched lower to 92.1 in late November from 92.3 earlier in the month. The decline was unexpected. Economists were expecting the index to rise to 93.3. The index is below the 93.6 level in October.
