Consumer Inflation Remains Tame in March
Washington, DC, April 13, 2012 -- Consumer prices rose 0.3% in March, the Labor Department said Friday.
So-called core prices, which strip out volatile food and energy costs, rose a seasonally adjusted 0.2%.
Consumer prices have risen an unadjusted 2.7% over the past 12 months, but that's down from 2.9% in February.
