Consolidated Carpet Recycles 341 Tons of Flooring

New York, NY, March 21, 2008 –Consolidated Carpet said its ConServe Reclamation Program recycled over 692,741 pounds of used flooring last year.

 

This year, the firm said it plans to divert over 1,000,000 pounds of used materials from landfills.

 

Last year, Consolidated Carpet collected over 98,000 yards of carpet and tile from various locations including Commerzbank at 1 World Financial Center, Credit Suisse at 11 Madison Avenue and the Pfizer Conference Center in Ryebrook, N.Y.

 

The ConServe Program also donates used flooring to charitable organizations such as the YMCA in Mamaroneck, N.Y. and the Nazareth House in Downtown Manhattan.
