Connecticut Flooring Firm Expands

New Canaan, CT, June 14, 2011 -- Wilton-based Fashion Floor Covering and Tile is opening a branch in New Canaan.

The store sells carpet, pre-finished hardwood, engineered wood floors and laminate floors and vinyl, porcelain, natural stone and ceramic tile, as well as sheet vinyl and linoleum floors in an open 1,200-square-foot space.

Fashion Floor saw an opportunity to expand into New Canaan, Paul Howard, manager of the new store told the Danbury News, after it became apparent that home owners there were traveling as far as New York City to buy flooring.
