Complaint Targets Home Depot Execs

Seattle, WA, September 11, 2006--Keller Rohrback L.L.P., said that a shareholder derivative complaint has been filed in the Superior Court of Fulton County, Georgia, on behalf of nominal defendant Home Depot, Inc., and against certain company executives and board members. Home Depot previously reported that in five instances prior to December 2000, the date of the meeting or resolution approving an option grant was later than that used to determine the exercise price. The company has disclosed that the SEC and U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York are investigating its stock option-grant practices. In addition, the company has requested that the board of directors complete a review of the company's historical stock option practices.
