Danville, VA, Feb. 25--Columbia Flooring's Danville engineered hardwood flooring
plant received the 2003 President's Award for outstanding performance at
parent company Columbia Forest Products' annual managers' meeting, held this
past January.
The President's Award is given annually to a specific Columbia operation in recognition of operating efficiency, continuous improvement and the attainment of specific strategic goals.
This award recognizes the Columbia team with the most outstanding performance over the past year. Columbia Flooring president David Wootton said, "As Columbia has experienced tremendous growth during the past few years, our plant in Danville has delivered a benchmark company-wide for operational excellence and safety."
