Danville, VA, April 12--Columbia Flooring has announced three new appointments in the company's sales and marketing organization.
David Baird has joined Columbia as business unit manager, commercial flooring; Ben McNabb assumes the role of manager, retail development; and Cindy VanSteen has been hired as merchandising manager, retail cooperatives.
Baird, whose responsibilities will include establishing Columbia as a major player in the commercial flooring market, comes to the company from Milliken Carpet, where most recently he held the position of national accounts manager/consumer environments, involved with commercial carpets. He is married with four children and resides in Raleigh, North Carolina.
As manager, retail development, Ben McNabb will help develop and implement Columbia strategies in the retail arena. He joins Columbia after five years with Tarkett Wood Floors, where he was marketing manager. McNabb lives in Johnson City, Tennessee.
Cindy VanSteen comes to Columbia from CCA Global, where she most recently held the position of director of member relations. VanSteen will assist Jason Mielnikowski, Columbia's business unit manager for retail cooperatives, while he expands his role to further develop the company's national accounts program. VanSteen resides in Atlanta.
