Danville, VA, August 30, 2006--Columbia Flooring today announced the introduction of Clic Xtra, a new glueless laminate plank offered in lengths and widths specifically designed to replicate the look of premium hardwood flooring.
Clic Xtra is manufactured with a 6 ¼” width, similar to the 5” width of today’s most popular hardwood flooring. The product also comes in long, 54-1/3” lengths, producing fewer seams and closely approximating the appearance of expensive, long-length hardwood planks.
“Clic Xtra’s width, longer lengths and incredibly realistic registry embossing provide a high-end hardwood look at an affordable Clic price point, without the maintenance associated with hardwood,” Columbia director of business development Steve Bunch said. “The realism can be attributed to a five-layer color print on the finest paper in the industry—these patterns are our best yet.”
The line features the patented Uniclic locking system on an 8mm core and carries Columbia’s lifetime warranty against fade, stain, wear, structure and moisture.
