Danville, VA, November 1 - Columbia Flooring today announced the addition of three new distributors: Swiff-Train of Houston, Texas; National Wood Products of Salt Lake City, Utah; and Self's Inc. of Wichita, Kansas.
"Bringing these companies into our national distribution network greatly strengthens our industry position," Columbia director of sales John Patterson said. "They represent very important regions and our partnerships with them will help us make a giant step forward."
Swiff-Train's territory includes most of Texas; National Wood Products serves Utah, western Wyoming and southern Idaho; and Self's region is made up of Kansas, Oklahoma, western Missouri and northwestern Arkansas.
"We're extremely excited to take on Columbia's product lines," Swiff-Train vice president of sales Don Evans said. "The selection is broad and of very high quality. And I recently got a tour of the company's Danville plant, which was a really impressive operation."
