Clossin to Lead Education Markets at Tandus

Dalton, GA, November 01, 2006--Tandus, a leading manufacturer of commercial floorcoverings, announced that it has strengthened its marketing organization with the addition of Bill Clossin as general manager for its Education Markets. In his role, Bill will be responsible for the strategic direction of both the K-12 and College and University sectors. Duties will include market strategies and analysis, communications and promotional campaigns and new product applications for the company's education markets. He brings a combination of strategic and operational expertise that will enable us to serve our customers," said Lee Schilling, Senior Vice President, Tandus. "In recent years we have restructured our selling and marketing organizations to more efficiently respond to the needs of the marketplace and Bill will play a major role with continuing to grow the education markets." Clossin brings to Tandus more than 22 years of marketing and sales experience in the floorcovering and textiles industry. Most recently, he was VP of Marketing for Amtico International in Atlanta, GA and was also previously VP of Marketing for Harris-Tarkett in Johnson City, TN. A native of Frankfort, Indiana, Clossin earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Telecommunications from Indiana University. Clossin resides in Ooltewah, Tennessee with his wife, Elizabeth and son, Patrick.
