Clarion Industries Names New President

Shippenville, PA, April 13, 2009--Former Pergo president and CEO Tony Sturrus has been appointed president of Clarion Industries.

The appointment comes as a private equity group, led by the Fairbanks family, along with ATC Panels, purchased Tarkett's share in the Clarion joint venture.

The new joint venture includes all the assets of Clarion Boards, Inc., a manufacturer of medium and high density fiberboard, and of Clarion Laminates, LLC, a manufacturer of premium laminate flooring products.

Clarion Laminates said it is the only fully integrated laminate flooring operation in the U.S.
