Cirangle Named to AIA College of Fellows

Los Angeles, CA, March 26, 2014 -- Ernest Cirangle, FAIA, design director in HOK’s Los Angeles office, has been named to the college of fellows by the American Institute of Architects 2014 Jury of Fellows.

According to the AIA, the program “honors architects who have made a significant contribution to architecture and society and who have achieved a standard of excellence in the profession.”

Cirangle becomes one of only about 3,000 members of the 80,000 AIA members to receive the honor.

Since joining HOK in 1982, Cirangle has dedicated his career to transforming the design of aviation, transportation, healthcare, civic, commercial and higher education facilities.

As design principal for HOK’s Asia Pacific practice, Cirangle led the design of significant projects in countries including Hong Kong, China, Japan, the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia and Korea, where he achieved international acclaim through design awards and features in architectural publications.

His U.S. projects have earned AIA, community and national engineering design awards.
