Chuck Dettloff, Founder of Conventional Carpet, Has Died

Sterling Heights, MI, August 28, 2025-- Chuck Dettloff, 71, owner and founder of Conventional Carpet of Sterling Heights, Michigan died August 23. 

Conventional Carpet was one of the early acquisitions by Shaw Industries into the commercial contracting business under the umbrella of Shaw Contract Floors and a member of the Starnet Commercial Flooring network.
