China Flooring Revenues Up in First Half
Beijing, China, Aug. 29, 2011 -- Wood flooring firm China Flooring Holdings Limited recorded revenue of approximately $109 million for the first six months of the year, an increase of 14.5% as compared with 2010.
The company said the increase was mainly attributable to the increase in consumer demand for the company's branded flooring products, the addition of authorized manufacturers, the expansion of distribution network, and the enhancement of brand recognition.
The overall gross profit increased by 26.1% year-on-year to approximately RMB235,317,000 from approximately $36.8 million in the corresponding period last year.
"The accelerated recovery of the global economy in 2011 further intensified the demand in the flooring market, and China's flooring industry has begun a new growth cycle," said Se Hok Pan, chairman and president of China Flooring.
