China Ceramics' Third Quarter Income Rises

Jinjiang, China, Nov. 14, 2011 -- China Ceramics Co. said third quarter net earnings were $11.8 million, or $0.65 per share, up 19.9% from the third quarter of 2010.
 
Revenue was $63.4 million, up 38.4% from a year ago.

The year-over-year increase in revenue was primarily driven by a 28.1% increase in the sales volume of ceramic tiles to 14.6 million square meters from 11.4 million square meters in the third quarter of 2010.

The firm said it was able to increase sales volume due to increased production capacity at the Hengda facility together with our current capacity from the Hengdali facility, both of which operated at full capacity during the quarter.
