China Ceramics Reports Higher Income, Sales

Jinjiang, China, Aug. 16, 2012 -- China Ceramics Co. reported second quarter net income of $ 13.6 million, up 18.9% from the second quarter of 2011.

Revenue for the quarter was $ 69.5 million, up 18.5% from a year ago.

On a quarter-to-quarter sequential basis, revenue was up 18.5% and net profit was up 20.1%.

The company said its results were driven by higher margin ceramic tile products.
