Children of Two Associates Win Mannington-Sponsored Scholarships

Salem, NJ, May 31, 2019-Mannington Mills is a corporate sponsor of the National Merit Scholarship Corporation and the underwriter of scholarships for children of its associates, and this year, Mannington-sponsored scholarships have been awarded to two graduating seniors, Luke Pollack and Amy Thomas.

Pollack will be studying bioengineering at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. He is a graduate of Sullivan South High School in Kingsport, Tennessee, and is the son of Mannington associate Wayne Pollack who is a supply chain business analyst at the company’s Calhoun, Georgia location.

Thomas will be studying zoology and animal biology at Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania, with admission to the Ross Accelerated Veterinary Program. She is a graduate of Twinsburg High School in Twinsburg, Ohio, and is the daughter of Mannington associate Scott Thomas who is a midwest region sales representative.

Since becoming a National Merit Scholarship Corporation sponsor in 2014, Mannington has awarded ten scholarships.
