Chicago Businesses Grow at Slower Pace in May
Chicago, IL, May 31, 2012 -- Business conditions in the Chicago region fell in May, according to the Chicago Purchasing Managers.
The Chicago Business Barometer fell 3.5 points to a seasonally adjusted 52.7 in May from 56.2 in April.
Any number above 50 signifies that businesses are still expanding, although the Chicago PMI has fallen three straight months.
