Dalton, GA, November 30--Ann Eaton has been named president and CEO of Cherokee Carpet Industries in Dalton, Georgia.
Ms. Eaton replaces Harold Hair who has left the company to pursue other interests.
In addition, Ms. Easton's responsibilities will include Cherokee Extrusion and Southwind Carpet Mills, both divisions of the parent company.
Cherokee is a manufacturer of residential and light commercial carpet and also extrudes both nylon and polypropylene fiber.
Future plans are to continue growing business to independent carpet retailers in the US under the Southwind banner as well as increasing export and distributor sales under the Cherokee name.
