Chemical Companies Hosting Carpet Conference

Dalton, GA, November 29, 2007—Manufacturers Chemical LP, a chemical supplier to the floorcovering industry, and Solvay Solexis a major global supplier of technology chemicals and the second largest producer of fluorochemicals, will hold a carpet industry conference to discuss a new class of carpet finish chemicals.

Solvay Solexis has introduced a new class of fluorochemicals through Manufacturers Chemical. The products have a half life in the body of less than 24 hours. They are also used in the food packaging industry as an alternative to telemer fluorochemicals.

The half day seminar planned for December 5 at the Northwest Georgia Trade and Convention Center will cover the product chemistry and will feature speakers who understand product liability and litigation.
