Wilmington, Del,, January 17--Opening a new source of credit to homeowners, Chase bank and Reader's Digest announced the launch of a new home-improvement credit card. offering low initial interest and reward points for building or remodeling purchases.
The announcement said that holders of the new card will earn three points for every dollar spent on home improvement purchases, one point for every dollar spent on all other card purchases. When cardholders amass 2,500 points, they can redeem them for a $25 gift card to be used at electronic stores, home improvement stores and other leading retailers.
