New York, NY, July 6--Retail chain store sales increased 0.5% last week after falling 0.6% the prior week, according to the International Council of Shopping Centers.
Sales growth slowed to 3.8% year-over-year from 4.2% last week, the industry group said Wednesday.
For June, same-store sales are expected to rise at least 4.5% year-over-year, the best since February's 4.7%, said Michael Niemira, chief economist for the ICSC
