Chain Store Sales Improve from Last Year
New York, NY, Nov. 17, 2010 -- U.S. weekly chain-store sales rose by 3.4% from one year ago, according to the International Council of Shopping Centers and Goldman Sachs.
However, the week-over-week comparison turned mixed again as chain-store sales slipped 0.1%, ending three consecutive weeks of slightly positive growth.
ICSC says that November comparable store sales will show an increase of 3% to 4% given easy comparisons from one year ago.
