Chain Store Sales Higher Than Last Year
New York, NY, Dec. 8, 2010 -- U.S. chain-store sales rose by 2.6% last week compared to the same week last year, according to the International Council of Shopping Centers and Goldman Sachs.
On a week-to-week comparison though, sales at the retail chains dropped by 2.1%, indicating a fairly normal post-Black Friday lull.
