Cevisama 2005 to Feature Over 600 Exhibitors

Castellon, Spain, January 12--Cevisama 2005, the 23rd International Trade Fair for ceramic tiles, coverings for the construction industry, bathroom furnishings and fittings, raw materials, glazes and frits, is being held earlier than usual this year. The event is set to take place in the second week of February and will boast a number of new features including new spaces, new services, a program of parallel events and more attractive displays. More than 640 manufacturers of ceramic floor and wall tiles, bathroom furnishings and fittings, raw materials, glazes and frits will be exhibiting at this year’s Cevisama. Over 50% of all exhibitors are from the ceramic tile industry. Work on the new pavilions at Feria Valencia was completed last September. The new buildings provide 221,000 square meters of exhibition space, 50.44% more space than was available previously. The new meeting rooms, medical center and enhanced catering facilities are now fully functional. The new additions to Feria Valencia have made this Europe’s most modern exhibition venue, with bright, open spaces that play their own part in improving product displays as well as making the event more visitor friendly. The international content of this year’s Cevisama comprises 140 exhibitors, while the entire exhibition will cover a total of 86,000 square meters. The ceramic tile industry, which forms the biggest section of the exhibition will be located on levels 2 and 3 of halls 1, 2, 3 and 4. Cevisama 2004 attracted 86,566 visitors including 10,000 foreign buyers, the show’s main target audience. It is expected that this number will rise again this year.
