CertainTeed To Sponsor Sweepstakes For ASCR Member

Millersville, MD, Jan. 6--CertainTeed Corporation and the Association of Specialists in Cleaning and Restoration (ASCR) are teaming up on a new sweepstakes program that will make Association members eligible for an array of attractive prizes, and boost ASCR membership at the same time. “The restoration and reconstruction marketplace is an important one for our company,” said Jim Ash, national distribution marketing manager for CertainTeed’s Insulation Group. “This sweepstakes program is our way of supporting the industry’s leading trade association, at the same time we focus the spotlight on our products.” CertainTeed will conduct four major sweepstakes drawings that will be limited exclusively to ASCR members. The first, held during Solutions-the Educational Summit, ASCR’s annual meeting March 10 to 13, 2004, will be for a Bose 3.2.1 DVD/CD Surround Sound home theater system. The winner of the second drawing, in August 2004, will receive a 51” Toshiba TheaterWide HDTV monitor projection TV. In December 2004, the third drawing will be held for a trip for two to a five star, all-inclusive resort in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. Airfare, room, meals, and certain activities are included. The sweepstakes will culminate during the March 2005 ASCR annual meeting, when the grand prize, a 2005 SOFTTAIL Fat Boy Harley Davidson motorcycle, will be given away. ASCR members will also be eligible to participate in monthly drawings sponsored by CertainTeed. Each month, one winner will be selected to receive membership dues in ASCR. The first monthly drawing will be held March 15. ASCR members will be awarded one entry in each of the drawings for every $100 they spend on CertainTeed insulation products purchased through one of CertainTeed’s many insulation distributors, retailers, and/or contractors nationally. All CertainTeed fiberglass insulation products are eligible. Official rules and sweepstakes forms, as well as a listing of CertainTeed insulation distributors, retailers, and contractors, are available on the ASCR website: www.ascr.org. “This sweepstakes, as well as the CertainTeed-ASCR educational program that was recently announced, sets high standards for corporate support of our industry,” said Tim Horrigan, ASCR president. “Our hope is that more and more companies will follow CertainTeed’s lead and apply their resources to help strengthen the cleaning and restoration industry.”
