Cersaie Show Set for Sept. 22-26 in Bologna

Bologna, Italy, July 3, 2014 -- Cersaie—the world’s largest exhibition of ceramic tile and bathroom furnishings—will take place at the Bologna Exhibition Center in Bologna, Italy from Sept. 22-26.

Organized by Edi.Cer SpA and promoted by Confindustria Ceramica in collaboration with Bologna Fiere, the show attracts nearly 1,000 exhibitors from 30+ countries and over 75,000 visitors each year.

Highlights of the 2014 edition include:

• Expanded categories of interior and exterior floor and wall covering materials including marble, natural stone, wood and laminate.

• Keynote lecture by Toyo Ito, winner of the 2013 Pritzker Prize, on Thursday, September 25. Known for creating conceptual architecture in which he seeks to simultaneously express the physical and virtual worlds, seminal works include Sendai Mediatheque, “Tower of Winds” in Yokohoma, Torre Realia BCN in Barcelona and, most recently, the Taichung Metropolitan Opera House in Taiwan.
