Ceramics of Italy Opens 2026 International Tile Competition

Las Vegas, NV, April 3, 2026-Ceramics of Italy has opened entries for its 2026 International Tile Competition, marking the first year the organization has combined its North American Design Competition and Italy-based La Ceramica e il Progetto into a single global program.

The competition, organized by Confindustria Ceramica in partnership with the Italian Trade Agency, expands eligibility to architects and designers worldwide working on projects that feature Italian ceramic and porcelain tile.

Submissions are open across four categories-Residential, Commercial, Design & New Applications, and Outdoor-and there is no entry fee. Eligible projects must have been completed between January 2021 and March 2026 and include tile produced by Ceramics of Italy member companies.

Winners will be notified in July and recognized during an awards ceremony at Cersaie, scheduled for September 21-25, 2026, in Bologna, Italy.

The jury will be chaired by Steve Clem and includes Alfonso Femia, Donatella Bollani and Filippo Manuzzi. Projects will be evaluated based on design, use of Italian tile and sustainability.

The submission deadline is June 5, 2026.
