Ceramic & LVT Imports Declined in March 2026

Charlotte, NC, May 11, 2026-Both ceramic and LVT imports declined in dollars and units in March, reports Truist. 

“Ceramic imports continued their streak of declines, seeing units down 16% and dollars down 14%. Spain and India experienced unit and dollar declines while Italy was mostly flat in dollars and actually experienced unit growth.

“LVT imports for the month were down 24% in units and 22% in dollars as flooring continues to struggle. Each of our focus countries experienced declines with China remaining a notable story with units down about 90%.”
