Central Alabama Flooring Closes Big Bob's Store to Focus on Carpet One Biz

Birmingham, Al, January 7, 2025-Central Alabama Flooring (CAF), a provider of residential, builder, and commercial flooring solutions throughout Alabama, has closed its Birmingham, Alabama Big Bob's Outlet Store and concluded its membership with the Floors & More/Big Bob’s Flooring Outlet group, effective January 1, 2026.

The store opened in 2017. The group will now focus on its full-service Carpet One business.

This strategic transition marks a new chapter for the company as it shifts toward a more CCA Global-aligned business model. With three Carpet One locations, two Kiba Studio’s locations and a ProSource location, CAF is looking to expand its footprint in Alabama and neighboring states with additional Carpet One and ProSource locations.

CAF is headed by Don Roberts, president and CEO. The business was started in partnership with Terry Wheat’s Carpet One stores. Years ago, it was the catalyst for Wheat developing the ERP software package.
