Central Alabama Flooring Acquires Foote Bros. Carpet One

Gadsden, AL, April 2, 2026-Central Alabama Flooring has announced the acquisition of Gadsden, Alabama’s Foote Bros. Carpet One Floor & Home.

Foote Bros., owned by Don Rochester, Larry Thomas, and John Clayton, has been in business for more than 60 years.

Central Alabama Flooring is a provider of residential and commercial flooring solutions, founded by Terry Wheat, who founded RFMS. 

Central Alabama has four Carpet One stores, which will not total four. Jamin Carter will run the four locations.
