CCA Global’s Rug Décor Appoints New President

Manchester, NH, July 12--CCA Global Partners has appointed Scott Hayim as president of Rug Décor, one of CCA Global's 13 affiliate companies. Hayim comes to Rug Décor with a very successful 25-year background in the floor covering industry. Most recently, he served as the Director of New Business Development at ProSource, also a CCA Global affiliate company. "Scott has made a tremendous amount of achievements and advances in the floor covering industry," said Howard Brodsky, co-CEO of CCA Global Partners. "He has been involved in all aspects of the industry, from merchandising to sales training - he's built businesses from the ground up, creating competitive, well-branded and successful floor covering chains. Scott has been an excellent addition to CCA Global." As the president of Rug Décor, Hayim will utilize his experience and knowledge of the area rug market, along with his expertise in developing successful businesses to enhance Rug Décor's brand and position the company as a strong competitor among others in the floor covering industry. Since graduating with a law degree from Georgetown University Law Center in 1978, Hayim has held a range of positions in the floor covering industry. He founded both an area rugs import company - Rug Trading Corporation - and Absolutely Rugs, one of the very first "rugs-only" specialty stores in the U.S. He then sold Absolutely Rugs to ABC Carpet, where he became the General Manager. Hayim recently founded Ruglink, a sales agency that represented Shaw Rugs and other rug manufacturers, before becoming the Vice President and General Manager for Baker Brothers Area Rugs and Flooring in 2002. Rug Décor is a division of CCA Global Partners that specializes in branded, fashion-oriented area and accent rugs.
