CCA Donates Carpet for Habitat for Humanity

Manchester, NH, March 28, 2007--Following its  successful conventions in Dallas earlier this month, CCA Global Partners made a donation to support the local Habitat for Humanity chapter. The company donated 7,200 sq. ft. of the top-quality flooring and 1,300 sq. yards of cushion used in the exhibit hall display areas to Trinity Habitat for Humanity in Fort Worth, TX.   CCA Global hopes to make this type of donation a tradition for all future conventions.   “This is a wonderful opportunity to make a difference in the local communities where we hold our annual gatherings, and we’re delighted to be able to help such a worthy and essential cause,” said Howard Brodsky, co-CEO and co-Chairman of CCA Global Partners. “We’re glad that Habitat can find a new home for these floors and we look forward to working with the organization again in the future.”   That new home is Trinity’s innovative ReStore shop where the Habitat chapter sells donated new and used building materials at 50 to 90 percent below retail prices. All proceeds benefit Habitat in its mission of revitalizing neighborhoods and helping hard-working, low-income families realize their dreams of home ownership.   “We’re truly grateful for the beautiful carpet from CCA Global Partners,” said Frances Manning, director of development and in-kind donations for Trinity. “We feel that it’s a wonderful idea to donate the convention flooring to an organization in the convention city.  Great donations like this get us one step closer to achieving our ultimate goal of providing affordable housing for everyone in our community through Trinity Habitat for Humanity.”   CCA Global’s donation would not have been possible without the generosity of Leggett & Platt, Tuftex, Shaw Industries, Mannington Mills, Beaulieu, Mohawk, Nourison and The Dixie Group.
